Privacy Policy
Your data belongs to you. We're transparent about what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, including your name, email address, business name, and trade. When you use Jobby, we also collect information about your clients, jobs, and invoices — this is the data you enter to run your business. We automatically collect usage data, device information, and cookies to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and maintain Jobby, process payments, send invoices and reminders on your behalf, provide customer support, improve our features, and communicate with you about your account. We never sell your data to third parties. We may share data with our integration partners (like Stripe or QuickBooks) only when you explicitly connect those services.
3. Data You Control
You own the data you enter into Jobby — your clients, jobs, invoices, and payments. You can export your data at any time from Settings → Export. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Once deleted, your data is removed within 30 days and cannot be recovered.
4. Data Security
We protect your data with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production data is restricted and logged. We undergo regular security audits and penetration testing. For details, see our Security page.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (such as tax-related invoice data, which we retain for 7 years as required by US law).
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@jobby.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and analyze how Jobby is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
8. Children's Privacy
Jobby is a business tool and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email and post a notice in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The 'last updated' date at the bottom reflects the most recent revision.
