Our Story
From a plumbing van to a platform
In 2021, Sam Rivera was running a three-person plumbing business and drowning in admin. Invoices went out late, payments came in later, and Sunday nights were spent catching up on paperwork instead of resting. He tried every CRM on the market — and every single one was built for sales teams, not for people who fix things.
So he called his friend Jordan, a software engineer who'd spent years building field-service tools. They sketched the first version of Jobby on a napkin at a diner: a single dashboard where a trades business owner could see every job, every invoice, and every payment — without juggling five different apps.
Three years later, Jobby is used by over 12,000 trades businesses across the US. Plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, landscapers, and contractors run their entire operation on Jobby. But we still build the way we started: by listening to the people who use it every day, in the field, on the job.
